Part of the tradition of attending the Xavier Leadership Institute each summer is working on huge posters that will hang in the gym and welcome the freshman class.
In a twist on that theme, the Xavier faculty and staff spent a few hours on a March afternoon when the students were not in the building working on posters that are now displayed in various places in the school. They were stashed away for about a month until it was time to bring them out.
The last day of classes for seniors is Thursday. Exams end next week. The Baccalaureate Mass is May 20 at 6:30 p.m., and Graduation Ceremonies are May 21 at 10:30 a.m..
These posters are for a senior class that has endured much due to COVID. Despite that, this is a very accomplished class and the posters help send them on to their next journey in life.
As one poster says, borrowing from Dr. Seuss, “Oh, The Places You’ll Go.”
