The dynasty continues.
For the eighth consecutive season, the Xavier High School Wrestling team has claimed the Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) Championship, once again proving why they are one of the premier programs in the state.
Competing at Guilford High School over two days, the Falcons put together a dominant performance, racking up 271 points—nearly 100 points more than runner-up Foran (177 points).

Zaphyr Musshorn
In addition, Alden Gaboury battled his way to a 3rd place finish, while Mike Keegan secured 4th place, adding to the team's depth and overall dominance.
Our JV wrestlers also made their mark, with seven taking home first-place finishes in their tournament, showcasing the strength of the program from top to bottom.
Next Stop: Class L Championship
With the SCC title secured, the focus now shifts to the Class L Championship Meet at Wilton High School. Our team has been unstoppable in recent years, winning the Class L title four straight seasons and the State Open Championship the past three years. The expectation remains the same—continue the legacy of excellence.
Congratulations to our wrestlers and coaching staff on another incredible milestone. Stay tuned as they set their sights on even bigger goals!
