Dear Xavier Families,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year at Xavier! We are incredibly excited to have your sons in the building and we are ready for a great year.

As we approach the end of summer, the energy on campus has been building, and this past week was a testament to that. All four classes had their orientations, and it was wonderful to see the halls of Xavier filled with the excitement and anticipation of a new school year.

A special moment from this week was when the freshmen gathered on the bleachers for a group photo. It was a poignant reminder of the journey ahead, and we're excited to watch them grow and mature during their time at Xavier. It seems like just yesterday that the Class of 2025 was in those same seats for their first orientation.

We're also looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Tuesday, September 3rd, for the first day of school. As we prepare to dive into another year of growth, learning, and community, I hope you all enjoy this last long weekend of summer with your families.

Let's make this school year one to remember!

As we look ahead to a new month and academic year on Randolph Road, I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:

"In Xaverian schools, students have been invited to encounter Jesus through an education that helps them to uncover their own gifts, to nurture their passions, and to challenge them to become the people God created them to be by placing their talents at the service of God."

Here are this week's updates and announcements...

Any athlete who is found in violation of this policy will be immediately sent home from their event and face additional school consequences. Additionally, athletes who arrive late or leave early, must be present for 5 full class periods in order to be eligible for athletics.

- Parents of Fall Athletes: Reminder that parent pick up after practices/games should be in the back of the school and not along the side of the building.  Parents must stay out of the bus pick up/drop off lane.

- If students did not bring in their photo envelope and place a picture order during Orientation, they may still order pictures if they submit their order form to the Main Office on Tuesday (9/3) or Wednesday (9/4). Please reach out to Ms. Lee with any questions.

- On Tuesday, September 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Xavier will be hosting its Parent Mini-Schedule Night! The purpose of this event is to provide parents with an opportunity to meet their son's teachers and to familiarize themselves with their son's schedule. Parents are asked not to enter the building before 6:15 p.m. The night will begin with a short meeting/presentation in Kohs Gymnasium. Room assignments will be posted throughout the building to aid parents in finding their sons' homerooms. The official mini-schedule will commence at 7 p.m. Parents will spend approximately ten minutes in each of their son's classes. The evening will conclude with a general announcement.

- Registration for our annual Fall Open House on Sunday Oct. 20 is open! This is one of the biggest days of the year for Xavier. Please share this link with any families or friends that may be interested in attending Xavier. We greatly appreciate your help! If you have any questions, please email Director of Admissions, Mr. Chris Sansone '06 ([email protected]).
