Dear Xavier Families,
I hope this message finds you well. We wanted to share a few important updates with you as we continue to navigate this exciting school year together.
No School on Monday Please note that there is no school on Monday, October 14, and our offices will be closed in recognition of Columbus Day.
Walk-A-Thon Fundraising Update As you know, our Walk-A-Thon fundraising efforts are still underway. While we're currently behind the ladies at Mercy, we believe our dedicated students can make a late push! Please remind your sons to share their Walk-A-Thon pages far and wide with family and friends, as this is our only student-driven fundraiser of the year. Every contribution makes a difference, and we appreciate your support! All gifts made this year are in memory of Brother Ryan.
Houli Day Tomorrow! A reminder that we have Houli Day tomorrow, October 12. This is a fantastic opportunity for our Falcons to earn service hours while helping to clean up our special lot here on Randolph Road. We warmly welcome families to join us in this effort!
PSAT Testing Update On Wednesday, we successfully conducted PSAT testing for our sophomores, juniors, and seniors. We are pleased to report that everything went smoothly in the classrooms, providing our students with a valuable opportunity to prepare for future assessments.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our Xavier community.
I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:
"In the Xaverian Brothers tradition, certain values distinguish our way of life. Simplicity, humility, compassion, zeal, and trust are aspects of the charism which animated Theodore James Ryken and which continue to distinguish the life of the Xaverian Brothers. Partners in mission and students of the Xaverian Brother Sponsored School community are called to be animated by these values as they live and work together under the protection and guidance of St. Francis Xavier and all those who have gone before us."
