Parent Weekly Newsletter - October 4

Dear Xavier Families,

I hope this message finds you well. We've had an eventful and enjoyable week at Xavier!

On Wednesday, our students were treated to free ice cream during lunch waves, courtesy of a generous donation from one of our families. Our Falcons enjoyed every moment of this sweet surprise, adding a little extra joy to their day.

Thursday was a special day for our seniors, as they participated in the annual Senior Field Day at the Farmington Club. This tradition gives the Class of 2025 a chance to take a well-deserved break, blow off some steam, and strengthen the bonds with their classmates. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and lasting memories.

I also want to remind you that fundraising for the 2024 Mercy/Xavier Walk-A-Thon is well underway. This is our only student-driven fundraiser of the year, and all gifts this year are being made in memory of Brother Thomas Ryan, C.F.X. Please encourage your sons to set up their fundraising pages and share them widely. Every contribution makes a difference, and together, we can honor Brother Ryan's legacy in a meaningful way.

Thank you for your continued support of Xavier and our community.

I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:

"Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools serve the Catholic Church's educational mission by forming young people to be faith-filled contemplative leaders who address the evolving needs of our world. Informed by our Xaverian and gospel values, our schools seek to educate the whole student by nurturing each person's unique giftedness. Xaverian students model Christ by utilizing their talents to respect the diversity of God's creation, seek justice, and love their neighbor."
