Dear Xavier Families,
I hope this message finds you well. We had a wonderful turnout for our Parent Mini Schedule Night on Tuesday, and I want to thank all who attended. It was a great opportunity for you to step into the shoes of your sons and experience a brief glimpse into the academic rigor our Falcons face each day. We are proud of the strong partnership between our faculty and families in supporting student success.
On Wednesday, our freshmen participated in the Fall Freshman Leadership Day, led by Dan Jaskot '98 of Empower Leadership. At Xavier, leadership isn't confined to the classroom walls. Programs like this help develop the strength of character that defines what it means to be a Xavier man. We believe that nurturing leadership skills early sets the foundation for our students to succeed in all aspects of life.
As a community, we continue to keep Brother Philip Revell, C.F.X., in our prayers as he receives treatment in Massachusetts. His presence has been a gift to Xavier, and we pray for his strength and recovery during this time.
It is with sadness that I also share the passing of former Xavier faculty member and football coach Mr. Raj Jaswal. He was a dedicated educator and coach who made a lasting impact on many students during his time at Xavier. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we guide our students toward becoming men of character, compassion, and service.
I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:
"With the Congregation of the Xaverian Brothers, we seek to continue to 'enter into an ever deeper sharing of faith and prayer' as we search 'the needs of the times and the desires of God in their regard.' We affirm our commitment to 'prayerfully reflect on the past, assess the present, and ponder the future with one another' as we respond to our call to minister in a Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School."

Additionally, athletes who arrive late or leave early, must be present for 5 full class periods in order to be eligible for athletics.
- Parents of Fall Athletes: Reminder that parent pick up after practices/games should be in the back of the school and not along the side of the building. Parents must stay out of the bus pick up/drop off lane.

- Important notice for all parents! Parents are reminded that their son's grades are always visible via OnCampus. As the year continues, parents are encouraged to periodically check their son's progress. If questions or concerns arise from these check-ins, parents are encouraged to reach out to their son's teacher(s).

- Registration for our annual Fall Open House on Sunday Oct. 20 is open! This is one of the biggest days of the year for Xavier. Please share this link with any families or friends that may be interested in attending Xavier. We greatly appreciate your help! If you have any questions, please email Director of Enrollment, Mr. Chris Sansone '06.
- We're excited to share with you our newest ad promoting all that makes Xavier special. Studies show that the number one reason families consider sending their sons to Catholic school isn't an ad, a brochure, or a billboard. It's you! It's the conversations you have with friends and neighbors. It's the stories you tell about what Xavier has meant for your son. We'd love for you to share this link with those in your circles. Spread the word, far and wide. Together, we keep building this community, one relationship at a time.
- ASSE International is partnering with Xavier High School to welcome international high school exchange students, ages 15-18, into your family and create bonds that will last a lifetime. Hosting an international student offers a unique cultural exchange experience for both the student and your family. To learn more about hosting an international exchange student click here or contact Chris Sansone, Director of Enrollment.
- A Child Trafficking Summit will take place at Mercy High School on Friday, October 4 from 6:00 - 9:30 pm. At this event Mike Smith, the Hollywood whistleblower, will show one of his two documentaries and the attendees will hear from a panel of speakers. Click here to view a flyer for the event.
