Dear Xavier Families,
It was wonderful to welcome our faculty, staff, and students back to campus after the winter break. Everyone has returned with renewed focus and energy, ready to finish the term strong.
We are thrilled to share the completion of a new Legacy Wall on campus, a testament to Xavier’s rich history and enduring traditions. This wall serves as a living reminder for our students and staff of the great leaders, educators, and moments that have shaped our community. It’s a celebration of the Xavier spirit and an inspiration for all who walk our halls.
This week, our students had the privilege of attending a presentation by renowned "Edutainer" Robert Hackenson, Jr., who brought an engaging and powerful message on navigating the digital world safely and responsibly. Through a unique blend of interactive storytelling, magic, and real-life scenarios, Mr. Hackenson captivated his audience and left them with invaluable tools to approach the digital age with awareness and care.
On Thursday night, we were thrilled to see an impressive turnout at our Junior Class College Workshop. It was wonderful to witness the enthusiasm and engagement of our students and families as they prepare for the next steps in their educational journey.
Thank you for your continued support as we move into this exciting new year. We look forward to the many great moments ahead.
I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:
“The Xaverian charism calls us to contemplate how we encounter the love of the living God each day leading to a deeper understanding of the meaning of life and a greater appreciation of what each person has to offer. The transformative relationship with Christ is at the heart of Xaverian spirituality.”
