Dear Xavier Families,

Wednesday afternoon was a momentous day for our school. I am honored and humbled to have been appointed as the next President of Xavier High School. This community has meant so much to me over the years, and I am excited for the opportunities ahead as we continue to strengthen our mission and prepare our young men for lives of faith, leadership, and service. Thank you for your unwavering support. I look forward to all that we will accomplish together.

On Thursday evening, we gathered as a community for the Junior Ring Mass, a meaningful tradition at Xavier. For our juniors, receiving their class rings is a powerful reminder of the brotherhood that binds them. It connects them not just to their classmates but also to the generations of Xavier men who have come before them. It was an evening filled with faith, reflection, and celebration, marking a milestone on their journey toward senior year.

This week, we proudly celebrated Catholic Schools Week, embracing the theme "Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community." Our students participated in various activities that highlighted our shared faith and commitment to service. Notably, we collaborated with Mercy High School on a Pen Pal project, fostering connections with students at local Catholic elementary schools. Additionally, we held a "Red, White & Blue" Dress Down Day to honor our nation. These events underscored the unique spirit of our community and the enduring value of Catholic education.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership in shaping the future of our school. I wanted to share this passage from our XBSS Partners in Mission document:

“The Spirit is calling us, as Xaverian Brothers Sponsored Schools, to implement challenging academic and cocurricular programs that promote the development of the whole person. Faculty, staff, and parents work together to create a trusting environment where the gospel vibrantly lives, and students are appropriately challenged to be their fullest, most authentic selves.”
