Technology
At Xavier, we ask our students to take the next step and prepare themselves for what comes after high school.
Whatever that may be.
So what does that mean when it comes to technology and its many facets?
It means setting our students up for success.
Starting with the Class of 2027, students enrolled at Xavier will be receiving a school-issued laptop. These Windows PC laptops will expand student digital capabilities, ensure equitable access to computer technology, and allow teachers to use 21st century learning strategies in the classroom.

BYOD Information
What is our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) plan?
Every school day, Xavier students are required to have a computer available to help them as they take on the challenges ahead.
So what do we recommend? The options are varied, but we do have a couple suggestions!
In general, MacBooks are discouraged due to limited support in the building and the possibility of a different experience with software being used. However, they are not restricted. Devices that are not permitted are iPads, Android tablets and Chromebooks. Student computers must run either Mac OSX or windows.
